Embraer delivers 20 aircraft in Q3 as Airlink welcomes its first E195-E2
Airlink's first Embraer E195-E2 arrived in South Africa on September 23, 2025.

Embraer has unveiled that during Q3 2025, it delivered 20 commercial aircraft, including 13 next-generation jets, the E190-E2 and E195-E2. Among the deliveries are Airlink’s first E195-E2 aircraft.
On October 3, 2025, Embraer revealed its Q3 2025 deliveries, with the Brazilian planemaker handing over 20 commercial aircraft to its customers: seven E175, two E190-E2, and 11 E195-E2s.
The Brazilian manufacturer pointed out that its Q3 2025 deliveries outpaced those in Q2 2025 and Q3 2024, when its customers welcomed 19 and 16 aircraft, respectively, resulting in a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) improvement of one and a year-on-year (YoY) bump of one and four.
Year-to-date (YTD), Embraer’s deliveries number 46 aircraft, or four more compared to the same nine-month period in 2024, with the company’s commercial aircraft delivery guidance in 2025 being in the range between 77 and 85.
Embraer ended 2024 with 73 deliveries, with its guidance for the year having been 70 to 73 aircraft. The year’s deliveries were split between 26 E175, eight E190-E2, and 39 E195-E2s.
Among Q3 2025 deliveries were quite a few milestones, including KLM Cityhopper’s 25th E195-E2. The regional airline of KLM welcomed two aircraft of the type during the quarter, PH-NXX and PH-NXZ, the latter of which became KLM Cityhopper’s 25th E195-E2. In addition to the next-generation E-Jets, the Dutch carrier also has 17 E175 and 28 E190s, according to planespotters.net.
Virgin Australia also welcomed its first-ever E190-E2, with the aircraft, registered as VH-E2A, arriving in Australia on September 6, 2025, landing at Perth Airport (PER) two days later. On its way to the country, the narrowbody made a whopping five stops, including three in the United States.
Nick Rohrlach, the Group Executive of Virgin Australia Regional Airlines, previously said that the E190-E2 would enter service “next month” when the airline welcomed the aircraft in Australia in September 2025.
South Africa-based Airlink was another carrier that welcomed its first E2 jet during the quarter, with Embraer handing over the E195-E2, registered as ZS-ARF, on September 22, 2025. The aircraft landed at Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) on September 23, 2025, and has stayed dormant since.
On October 1, 2025, Airlink announced that it has consummated its lease agreement with the aircraft lessor Azorra, having accepted its first three of ten E195-E2s. Planespotters.net records showed that it still has yet to formally take delivery of the other two aircraft.

de Villiers Engelbrecht, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Airlink, said that the introduction of the E195-E2 aircraft has set the airline on a new trajectory, with the executive praising the aircraft for its flexibility and cost benefits.
During the quarter, Embraer also handed over 41 private jets, totaling 61 deliveries in Q3 2025. Its year-end target is between 222 and 240 aircraft, which does not include the KC-390 Millennium or the A-29 Super Tucano.
The industry’s giants, Airbus and Boeing, have yet to publish their Q3 2025 orders and deliveries data.
