JetBlue has announced that it will launch two new routes from Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport (FLL) to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Orlando International Airport (MCO), and add two daily flights to New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA), further growing its presence at the airport in Florida.

On January 5, 2026, JetBlue unveiled two new routes from FLL, with the airline starting daily flights to DFW on March 12 and double-daily departures to MCO from May 21. In addition, it will add two additional double-daily flights between FLL and LGA, building on its current schedule of four daily flights on the route.

Dave Jehn, the Vice President of Network Planning and Airline Partnerships at JetBlue, stated that the new routes reflected the airline’s momentum in Florida and its continued investment at FLL “as a key gateway in our network.”

“By connecting our focus cities and expanding successful routes, we’re giving customers more reasons to choose JetBlue for travel within Florida and beyond.”

According to JetBlue, the FLL to MCO service will become a “convenient alternative to driving between two of Florida’s most popular destinations.” By directly linking its two focus cities in the state, offering morning and evening departures, it continues building “a more connected network designed around vacation travel and visiting friends and relatives.”

Customers will also be able to make onward connections across its network, the airline said.

The FLL-DFW connection will also be supplemented by three weekly departures between March 12 and March 23, which are special Spring Break flights, with the last FLL-bound departure scheduled to happen on March 24.

Afterward, JetBlue will continue operating a daily flight on the route, with the year-round service being scheduled to depart FLL at 20:35 local time (UTC -4) and land at DFW at 22:53. The return flight has a scheduled departure time of 06:15 and an arrival time at FLL of 09:55.

The MCO-FLL route will see flights departing MCO at 08:30 and 18:20, and arriving at FLL at 9:34 and 19:24. The FLL-MCO itinerary is scheduled to depart the former at 10:30 and 20:20, and land at the latter airport at 11:34 and 21:24, respectively.

Cirium’s Diio Mi showed that currently, two airlines have scheduled flights between FLL and MCO in May, when JetBlue’s daily flights will begin on the route: Spirit Airlines and Southwest Airlines. Similarly, two airlines have planned departures between FLL and DFW: American Airlines, which has a hub at the latter airport, and Spirit Airlines.

Spirit Airlines has double-daily departures on both FLL to MCO and FLL to DFW routes, according to Cirium’s Diio Mi.

Meanwhile, on the FLL to LGA route, three other carriers have scheduled flights in May: American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and Spirit Airlines, offering double-daily, up to four daily, and triple-daily departures, respectively.

During the month, JetBlue, Spirit Airlines, and United Airlines also have flights to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), while JetBlue and Delta Air Lines have scheduled 11 daily departures.

In May 2025, JetBlue’s load factors between FLL and LGA averaged 89.43%, per Cirium’s Diio Mi, which compiled data from the Department of Transportation (DOT).

JetBlue highlighted that the two new routes, as well as the additional departures to LGA, continue to build on its significant growth in Florida, with FLL being the primary driver of that expansion across the state. In March, the carrier will launch flights to its 11th destination in Florida, Destin/Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS).

“Additionally, JetBlue expanded offerings of its premium Mint experience in both Fort Lauderdale and Orlando and announced plans to open a dedicated Mint inflight crewmember base in Fort Lauderdale this year, reinforcing the airline’s investment in the region.”

The dedicated Mint base at FLL was scheduled to open “in early 2026,” the airline said when it unveiled nine new routes from the airport in September 2025.
